Summer 2014
Summer has been a bit challenging with the girls - it's hard balancing activities that hold each of the girls attention, while still running the house and having fun. So far we've had a nice three weeks of summer, we just completed two-week sessions of swimming lessons for both girls, Ruthie just finished a two-week session of springboard diving, and we've been chipping away at Ruth's summer homework packet. We've been on a few small trips, and the weather has been fairly nice. Next week Ruthie will be immersed in new summer camps at a great school, and Leah will be happy to have some time alone with Mommy. One of our favorite things so far this summer, has been the extra time we have to get crafty! I always try to make time for art activities that captivate the girls, and these pictures below are great examples of what we've been up to. Our kitchen table is always cluttered with books, play-doh, Legos and more! And it's usually littered with with color pencils and markers too - evidence of our time getting busy with art!

Your summer's been very busy so far! But with great activities. Love the art.
