We had a awesome opportunity to visit Great Wolf Lodge this weekend through our business Seattle Moms Deal Finder, and the kids had a fabulous time exploring the indoor water park and experiencing all the hotel amenities and games. Great Wolf Lodge is a huge hotel chain that has an indoor aquatic center, and we're lucky to have one in our state just hours from home! The kids loved swimming, speeding down the inner tube rides, playing miniature glow golf in the hotel, and of course the huge indoor arcade (the Dads won the kids multiple stuffed animals). It was great to get out of the house for a day or so, further try out a venue for families and children in the area and to relax in a setting where the kids were happy and excited about life.
Highlights
- Taking a moment to watch Ruthie play with sheer abandonment as she skipped through water sprinklers and gleefully rode down water slides to her hearts content! Seeing a child's spirit and joy come out is such a grateful moment of being parents.
- Daddy loved taking Ruthie on the biggest ride of all, she barely met the height requirement, Howlin' Tornado. Imagine a roller coaster on a big inner tube within peewee's playhouse (aquatic craziness!). She loved it of course.
- Spending time in a fun setting with Mike, Jen and cousins Sammy and Charlotte. Ruthie and Sam loved being there together.
