Leah at Preschool

Leah just finished up her first week of preschool!  Unbelievable right?!  She's only two; however, our beloved preschool facility started a 2's program that is very minimal and fun (classes are only held twice each week for 2 hours at a time) and we had to do it!  Leah has been thrilled to do something all about her, and she just adores her very own lunchbox and backpack.  Leah is attending class alongside her cousin, Charlotte, whom she adores and finds comfort in, the two of them are like peas in a pod.  It has been so much fun watching Leah adapt, explore and celebrate the joys of her own routine (instead of just tagging along to Ruthie's classes and events).  The teachers said that Leah had a great first day, no tears or need for her "lovie" and that she stayed with Charlotte most of the time.  After each two hour class, the kids are encouraged to participate in a 30-minute swimming session with the parents present watching.  Leah loves the pool, splashing and exploring as she slowly learns to swim.  Overall this transition has been really smooth, we hope it continues to be nothing but a positive experience for Leah!  Here are a few photos from her first day of preschool!
