Christmas at Grandma Anya's

This past weekend we drove to Grandma Anya and Grandpa Jopa's house for our first family Christmas celebration! We had a wonderful time, thank you for hosting Julie and Joseph. Both Mark and Ruth spent countless hours playing with old toys, and it was sweet to see Ruth and Sam playing with toys that Mark and Uncle Mike once played with at their age. On the day we arrived, we enjoyed a tasty meal, ate lots of sweets and opened numerous presents. The kids loved their new toys (here is a photo of Sam and Ruth happily playing with Sammy's new monster trucks)! Sunday was another day spent with quality time and yummy food. Mark said his favorite part of the weekend was playing with his childhood toys again (I caught him bidding on similar toys on ebay after we got home), and Ruthie said her favorite part was playing with Sammy. We are excited to experience more holiday joy this week, this was the perfect way to kickoff the week of Christmas!
