Ruth attended her first Mariners game this weekend! Mark received tickets from a co-worker for the Friday night game versus the Detroit Tigers at Safeco Field. Although we didn't stay for the full game, we had a nice evening out of the house enjoying the beautiful Seattle weather and entertainment. The game began at 7 p.m., and the Mariners were down by 7 points by the end of the first inning?!? The Tigers won the game 7-4; but we had a good time nonetheless.
Highlights of the night were the great seats, row 16 along the first base line! The low point of the evening was breastfeeding while sitting on the concrete bathroom floor...agh...the things we, mothers, have to do! Regardless, it was a fun night, and a memory worth making! Go Mariners!
