We are renting a 3 bedroom house with hardwood floors and a private backyard with plenty of lawnspace and places to garden. Thank you for all those who helped us move. We couldn't have done it without you! The bulk of the unpacking is now complete, though there is still plenty to do (including hanging pictures, organizing the bonus room...aka..the dungeon or junk room at this point, and lots of arranging is yet to be done). Ruth was a good sport all last weekend, and I was glad she remained awake and observant of the moving and relocating. I attribute her good spirit and contentedness here to the fact that she witnessed the move from start to finish. Despite our best efforts to keep healthy, Ruth has come down with her first headcold. She woke up a few nights ago with a raspy cough, and has since had a slight runny nose and plenty of coughs and sneezes to go with it. It's so disheartening to see and hear her sick, but we're thrilled that her spirit has remained chipper. Her pink bedroom is coming along nicely, and I can't wait to hang pictures and buy her the perfect crib! A big THANK YOU to Mark and his brother, Mike for painting the room the perfect shade of "Glamourous" pink!
On another exciting note...my sister, Hannah, is here for a few months to help nanny while I attend summer graduate school. Ruthie sure has taken to her, and we have loved the help!
