With summer winding down, we are grasping with all our might to hold onto the warmth and sunshine by spending our evenings in the yard and taking long walks as a family. This summer has been such an amazing season, Mark has traveled very little, Leah has learned to walk and infancy is beginning to fade, somehow life has seemed to blossom and our spirits have lifted. Ruth and Leah have begun to play together, which is marvelous, and Leah's new locomotive freedom has brought her a ton of joy! We are hoping that these final weeks of summer (the last day of summer is Friday, September 21, 2012) continue to bring joy and fun before preschool starts and Mark begins to travel. This picture is pretty indicative of how we spend our time in the backyard. Piled on top of one another smiling and relaxing!
