This year we spent the afternoon of July 4th relaxing at home! Leah had been struggling with a flu bug over the earlier part of the week, so we decided it'd be best to keep our little one home in efforts to get her immune system stronger and to simply take it easy. However, Mark did take Ruth to see the fireworks at a nearby festival in the evening friends, she raved about the experience. The "rainbow colored" fireworks were by far her favorite! :)

Sweet photos of sweet girls in sweet dresses. So glad Leah's better and that Ruth got to see some fireworks. Joseph and I went to Rotary Park to watch Ellensburg's fireworks this year.
The fireworks show was short and sweet, a nice ending to an otherwise uneventful day for us! Looking forward to having the 4th of July on the weekend again soon :)
