Leah is 10-months old now, and doing marvelous with her development! She is still on the smaller side for weight, but she's growing in length, and we remind ourselves often that all children are unique to their own growth and development trajectories. She has three teeth, with another top tooth on the way. Leah loves her sister, Violet the cat, and she has also taken a recent interest to Elmo. This picture is of the girls playing together in the dining room. Ruthie enjoys creating traps for Leah, these tend to be "play pens" whereby Leah is surrounded with toys and cannot escape. With my help Leah escaped from this particular trap!Fun news about Leah is that she seems to be en route to walking soon! Here she is standing tall, just long enough for me to snap a photo. It has been sweet to see her eagerness for locomotion--this little lady likes to crawl, scoot and cruise. Over the last few days she has taken up to four steps alone, but she is extremely wobbly and overly giddy about her efforts and prefers any type of support. We are enjoying watching the progression from crawling to standing, and soon to walking. Although parenting is tough, there are moments of magic that make it all worth while!

What great standing! She's such a delight! Enjoyed the update about her new skills and what she enjoys.
Leah is growing up so fast! It was terrific to see Ruthie on Sunday with her daddy...but it was sad not to see the entire family. Next time for sure!
When did Leah learn to stand by herself??? She looks like a big girl!
Way to go, Leah! You're growing up so quickly!
