Cups, Mugs & Little Lips

Our daughter has yet to try real foods, but her curiosity piques with liquids, as she is particularly fascinated with cups and mugs. She has become so enamored, that we have begun a mug sipping tradition. Whenever we are holding a mug, we'll take a drink, then let Ruthie put her mouth on the rim of the mug, then it's our turn again, then her turn, and so forth. And if the cup or mug just so happens to have water in it, we allow her to sip and guzzle little miniature bits of H2O. It is absolutely adorable! Today I let her play with an empty cup and mug, which proved to be the world's best toy in her eyes! I love watching her open wide, clamp down and slobber away with those cute little lips!
