We've had a strange week here at the Magnotti house - first Mom went on a trip, then Dad went on a trip, then Leah got a double ear-infection and now Ruthie has been home sick from school for days with a headcold she can't seem to shake. Sometimes when it rains, it pours and we're trying to keep our chins up despite feeling a bit blue. Just last night I was reading Toot & Puddle: You Are My Sunshine (I love Toot & Puddle books) to Leah and one of the last lines of the book captured just how we've been feeling... "Sometimes you need a big whopping thunderstorm to clear the air". Reading that made me smile, even brought a tear to my eye, such truth... We are ready for sunshine! Here is a picture of Leah, grocery shopping with me, we bought our first plant of 2015, we can't wait to start gardening together!
