Summer Camps at Open Window School

Ruthie just finished two weeks of half-day summer camps at Open Window School, and she had a fantastic time!  We had close friends recommend these camps to us and after researching the school's schedule, it seemed like a great fit for our family.  For the fist week Ruthie participated in a themed camp called "Ocean Commotion" in Ms. Shaw's class, and for the second camp she learned all about Chess with Coach Al!  The highlights for Ruthie were carpooling with Andrew on most mornings and exploring a new place.  Ruth loved the classrooms and the playgrounds, it's truly a beautiful campus!  It was great to pick Ruthie up after lunch to find her fulfilled and happy with the day!  Because Open Window School was in a neighborhood of Bellevue that we weren't familiar with, we made it a point to try out a new city park after each day of school.  The girls loved exploring new parks!  We will definitely be back next year for more Open Window camps!
