Christmas Morning Recap

Sanata came! Christmas 2013 at our house was peaceful and fun, both girls loved their new toys, and everyone was happy to spend time at home playing and relaxing. Our Christmas came upon the heels of a trip over the mountain to visit extended family, the girls loved their time with Grandparents and cousins, but everyone was happy to be home in time for Christmas. On the night before Christmas, the girls had a rough time sleeping (particularly Ruthie), but thankfully they didn't wake up until after 7 am in the morning. This Christmas, Ruthie is 5-years old (almost 6) and her wish list included a ton of fun things. Santa brought her the Lego Friends Dolphin Cruiser and a new Xbox game, and a stocking filled with keychains, candy, games and more. Leah, who is two-years-old now, was given a baby doll, stuffed animals, and useful items (like toothpaste). Leah was quite overwhelmed with opening gifts during the morning, but she has loved discovering all her little treats ever since. After we opened presents, Ruthie and Dad worked on Legos, while Leah needed to relax, she watched The Little Mermaid.  The weather was nice for afternoon backyard playtime, and we then ate a big yummy Tofurkey dinner. Overall, we are grateful for our health, the safety we have in our lives and all the extra comforts and blessings that God has given us.
We hope you all had a very Merry Christmas!
