Ruthie has been on an emotional roller coaster about losing her first tooth! A few weeks ago we noticed she was cutting a six year old molar (an adult tooth), and also spotted an adult tooth breaking through directly behind her two front bottom teeth. After spotting that new bottom tooth, we knew it was only a matter of time... Ruthie was jazzed. Then she saw blood one day and freaked out. Then nervous. Wouldn't allow anyone to touch her wiggly tooth. And finally today while eating a Granny Smith, out it popped! Needless to say she is sooo excited for the "Tooth Fairy" to visit, curious what she'll receive. This is such a bittersweet milestone for Mommy and a Daddy too... Here are a few photos from the day! She's growing up all too quickly...

Such beautiful eyes and now a new smile! Hopefully the next ones will be easier for her.
