Earlier this week we spent a few days camping at the Washington coast with Mom's extended family! Nearly everyone made it, all together there was 14 adults and 19 kids. Highlights: Sunny weather, a long day spent on the beach, seeing horses gallop on the coast, bike riding, and playing with all the cousins. Bummer aspects of the weekend: There was a fire ban which meant no campfires and our little family came down with head colds (bummer!). Overall the kids loved their time in the sand and we were happy to visit this corner of the world in 2013. This was our last camping trip of the season, we're feeling happy that it's time to put the tent away!
