Parent-Tot Swim Class

Despite only making it to half the classes of the session (due to one sick kid or the other), yesterday Leah finished her first batch of Parent-Tot swim classes at Samena!  Daddy took the day off from work to join the fun, and Leah loved having both Mom and Dad splash around with her.  Leah's favorite songs and games were singing "The wheels on the bus", "Motor boat" and playing with the teacher's squirt toys.  It's hard to believe there is a curriculum for infant swim lessons, but Leah has been learning how to get out of the pool on her own, when to enter the water on cue, how to use the ladder, wall walking, blowing bubbles, kicking and the general use of arms in the water.  It has been a fun experience, and we'll definitely sign her up for more!
