Isabel & Oriana Come to Visit!

Last week we had the joy of hosting two of our nieces for part of the week, we had an awesome time together enjoying summer and family! We stayed super duper busy with outings, touristy activities and shopping. We visited the Seattle Aquarium, took in the sights of Seattle from the 73rd floor of Columbia Tower, picked blueberries, went hiking, and swimming too!

Ruthie adores her cousin Oriana, so the two of them intensely played together from dawn 'til 10 pm most days, much to our shushing and prompting, the girls giggled in sleeping bags on the floor for hours. Together they played Littlest Pet Shop, Barbies, sand box, and they built nests in our backyard hoping little birds would make their homes in them. For two whole days after Ori left, Ruthie moped around "missing her". We enjoyed our time with Isabel, we had quite a few meaningful chats, spent quality time together, and helped her get ready for her first year of high school! We did lots of shopping - Ross, Plato's Closet, Hollister, Forever 21, American Eagle, and a handful of other stores. I know Isa will head into her Freshman year of high school in style! We hope to maintain the tradition of having the girls at our house for a short bit during the summer for many more years to come!
