May was a bittersweet month for us, we had a few noteworthy events (Leah's baptism and a few day trips) that were sandwiched between the flu, headcolds, teething and spring allergies. Overall it was a tough month, but the brighter days of June are ahead! Here is a quick update on the girls... Ruthie is finishing up her first year of preschool, and Leah just celebrated 9-month old status. The girls are a ball of joy, always entertaining one another and happy to be together. Leah is crawling all over the house, exploring new rooms and areas. She is a bit obsessed with the bathroom, we often find her standing at the side of the empty bathtub. Leah has one tooth now, with another on the way. Ruth is taller than ever, growing like a dandelion! Ruth's big accomplishment is her swimming skills, she can almost swim 25 meters alone with side breathing. She is working hard to pass the swim test that allows her to jump off the diving board in the deep end! With everyone healthy and happy, we are looking forward to a fun summertime!

Goodbye May 2012

Thanks for the update, Esther. Ruthie and Leah are simply adorable in this photo! So nice they have each other to play with and interact with. So proud of Ruth's accomplishments this year, too. She's going to be a great swimmer! Funny about Leah being obsessed with the bathroom these days. Aren't children the most incredible gift from God? Love you all!
