Most nights Leah likes to stay awake much later than Ruthie, we think it's her way of allocating uninterrupted quality time with Mom and Dad. Our late evenings spent together are filled with cuddling, playing and relaxing together... Leah is learning how to sit up, she is beginning to self soothe with a lovey blanket (and her thumb of course) and she is really starting to explore the toys that are always around her. Leah likes to play "peek-a-boo", rolls over often, she loves watching and touching the cat, and she is enamored with her own hands. We love watching her big eyes and her bright spirit unfold every evening. It has been such a dream to watch her grow and change!

What a sweet little girl Leah is--I enjoy reading about the things that make her herself. She certainly does look wide awake!
I can relate, with both my kids being night owls and a 9 pm bedtime being an "early night" for them. I can't tell if it's hereditary, or if we influence them to be that way - leaning towards the latter. :)
