Merry Christmas

We had a whirlwind of wonder, excitement and fun during the holiday weeks, and we are slowly recovering back to our normal everyday pace. Ruthie loved her Christmas morning surveying her gifts and analyzing what Santa brought, and realizing what Santa didn't bring. Ruthie's favorite toy was her new Chemistry set, and she was most disappointed that Santa did not bring her a kitty cat. Maybe Mommy and Daddy will help with that in the near future? Ruthie was also doubly surprised to find the movie Cars 2 in her stocking, something she didn't ask Santa for, but how did he know she wanted it?! Leah loved her new rattles, and has been busy trying to hold them, and she loves watching Ruth model using her other new toys. The best family gift was a carpool lane pass for Mark to use, enabling him to get home on a workday 15 minutes earlier than normal when he isn't carpooling! It was a magical Christmas, one that Ruthie may just remember, and we have loved the peaceful contentment we have all felt in making the season the best we could have. Merry Christmas 2011
