Scribble Art

Ruthie's Great-Grandma is always sending us notecards with fun artwork on the front, and today we used her "scribble art" (above left side image) as a springboard for our craft time! First we analyzed and talked about how Grandma may have created this art, and reverse engineered our own. We set off to find paper, markers, glue and notecards. After about an hour of creativity and fun, (I cannot believe she could focus this long), Ruthie had made a pretty unique design that we oohed and aahed over. We then cut out a section (above right) with decorative scissors and glued it onto a card to mail. I'm fairly certain Great-Grandma will love this!
