- Today she is 6 weeks old! Leah weighs 9 lbs. 7 oz. (I had her weight checked yesterday)! YEAH for big growth! The standard rule of thumb is one ounce every day for three months, and she is doing a bit above average - great news!
- Nursing is interesting... She is an efficient eater, and sometimes finishes in less than 10 minutes and wants nothing more to do with food. Because of this she has lots of burps... Guzzling causes lots of air bubbles! :(
- Leah has graduated to size 1 diapers!
- Her eyes are still dark blue, and her hair is filling in slowly (dark brown).
- She likes to relax and sleep, she is fairly easy to calm and pacify with her mellow temperament.
- But with that said, Leah can cry loud and clear when she's upset!
- Leah hates the hiccups! She fusses and cries every time it happens, and typically insists on being walked around in the football hold or to lay on her stomach when it occurs.
- Leah loves her Baby Einstein play mat! She enjoys watching the light-up smiley face, and enjoys the green frog and her plush balls with designs on them.
- Most nights Leah lays in bed with us for an hour or so just watching our faces as we read books, and of course we take long breaks to stare and chat with her.
We love Leah to pieces and are so happy she is here, healthy and happy! Happy 6 weeks baby girl!

Oh look at her! She is so cute! Her and Ruth look so different from each other. They both have such individual looks :) Can't wait to hold her!
I can't believe she weighs over 9 pounds already! So glad I got to spend time holding here when she was a wee one! She sounds delightful still!
