One Month Old

Leah is one month old! Where has this amazing month gone?! The past four weeks has been a life changing journey in love, gratitude and patience. The arrival of Leah has brought many changes, the biggest of which is our appreciation and thankfulness for all that we have been blessed with, and realization of just how much we cherish our family.

It seems like only yesterday we were dropping Ruth off with Uncle Mike & Auntie Jen and making our way to the hospital to prepare for Leah's arrival. Our ability to recall details of the day are fading, but so much of that time will forever be in our memories. Leah arrived on a warm sunny summer day, earlier than expected, but right on time. The hospital staff and our doctors were amazing, and although it was a difficult labor and delivery, we are thankful for the experience. After meeting our little bundle of joy, we wanted nothing more than to hold her and cherish the moment. Something we haven't stopped doing since. Happy one month of life Leah, you have enriched our lives in more ways than we could ever could have imagined.
