Goodnight Miss Ruth

Ruthie's bedtime routine... After brushing teeth, Ruth gets a sippy cup of water to have in bed, we read books together, then we talk about her day (we usually discuss her day from start to finish, including highlights and anything that happened that was "bad"). Then Ruthie gets kisses goodnight, Mom and/or Dad leave, and she gets to read a few books in her bed quietly. Most nights this is what we see when we check on her no less than fifteen minutes later. An exhausted three-year-old with her arms still wrapped around books!
