Ruthie is beginning to emerge from the "terrible two's" and truly blossoming into a sweet girl! With my previous experiences of working with kids, I recall that 3 to 5 year olds were my favorite, and I am beginning to remember why. Ruth is learning to navigate her feelings through words, forming expressive statements and the tantrums are seriously lessening. She brings us laughter everyday with her new phrases, her attempts to do new skills, and her flair for the dramatic. We are still surprised with her bashfulness in new situations, but thankful she loosens up fairly quickly! We are over the moon to have a daughter with such a big heart, and know that every day is only going to continue getting better. Parenting is a wild ride, that seems to be flying by, but we truly love each and every day we are blessed to be Ruthie's parents!
Tidbits About Ruthie:
- She loves sushi, avocado rolls are her favorite!
- She enjoys filling up her sticker chart.
- She has a "prize box", and always opts for new books as her reward.
- Currently her favorite phrase is, "I have to tell you a secret..."
- We are struggling with her "being bossy".
- However, we are also impressed with her gains in politeness and manners.
- Ruthie is currently wearing size 4T shirts because of her pot belly.
- She is growing like a weed!!! Eating, sleeping, and outgrowing clothes faster than ever!

She really is such a sweet girl, and is growing up so fast. Sam absolutely adores her and we are so grateful that they have this special time together. We love you, Ruthie!
