Fall is here, and we are desperately trying to embrace the sunny moments of life. This is just a glimpse of them...
Ruthie is just about 33 months old. Almost a 3 year old!
We've been home from Florida for a few days now, and Ruthie is already claiming it's too cold here and that she's ready to go back. Yesterday we spent time in the backyard; no, we weren't weeding, which desperately needs done, we played with chalk instead. We drew a playground, a hopscotch board and our family. Ruthie dictated much of this family portrait, "put hearts on my dress", "Daddy needs a tie", and "draw Hello Kitty on my rainboots". Ruthie is becoming more and more opinionated, always expressing her thoughts and desires. She is the center of our sunny lives in more ways than one!

Esther, you and Ruthie are very good artists! I love the family you drew with the chalk. Fall is a lovely time of the year, isn't it!!
