Snapshot of our lives...
Monday- Dad's at work, Mom needs to clean the entire house after hurricane weekend! To Do: Complete 5 loads of laundry, vacuum floors, scrub toilets, don't spend money, watch calorie intake, make sure Ruthie plays, reads and does artwork.
Tuesday- Dad's at work, Mom needs to finish what she didn't get done Monday. Neighbor girls come over after naptime to play with Ruthie while Mom does homework...must submit homework via e-mail tonight!
Wednesday- Dad's at work, Mom and Ruth go downtown to shop the deals, play at Kids Cove and have lunch with Dad. After naptime, Ruthie goes to a friend's house while Mom goes to school. Did I mention, only 7 weeks remaining? Dad picks up Ruthie after work. Mom gets home at 9 p.m.
Thursday- Dad's at work, Mom and Ruth take a deep breath. Try to squeeze in a visit to the gym. I'm sure there's no fresh produce in the house. Buy groceries, use coupons. Invite friends over to play. Isn't there some project demanding my attention?
Friday- Dad's at work, Mom and Ruth have a day of fun! Forget housework! Playgroup! Dinner out? Dinner with friends? Travel for the weekend? Fridays are always sweeter!
Saturday- Morning pancakes with Dad, Mom sleeps in! It's a Dad and Ruthie day while Mom does homework-Boo! Yardwork? Garage sales? Museum? There's usually some sort of scheduled event, go figure? Daddy likes to golf on sunny afternoons. Watch a movie in the evening if we can stay awake.
Sunday- Church, Mom has a soccer game.
THEN, brace ourselves for another week...
The days and weeks are flying by at a pace I can't keep up with, but life is grand and we can not, let me repeat CAN NOT wait for summertime! Big Hug! ~Esther

Loved reading this great blog post, Esther! It's a good thing that mothers are mostly young women . . . you keep a very busy, fun schedule!
As someone who has been there, done that...I can only tell you that in the blink of an eye it will be Ruthie's graduation day, her wedding and then your first grandchild. It is hectic, but you are wise and I know that you savour these often frantic days as ones that are filled with wonderful moments and precious memories that will last you a lifetime.
