Our dream house waits for no vacation! The day before we left for our east coast trip, the house we've been eyeing for a year was put back on the market post-foreclosure, bank-owned. We put an offer in before we left, and have adjusted our offer twice while we've been away (that means we've spent quite a bit of time looking for and faxing documents at the FedEx/Kinkos & UPS stores); however, it looks like our hard work is paying off! On Tuesday, we received a call that the bank accepted OUR offer (of five offers), and we signed our portion of the bank contract yesterday, and are waiting for the bank to sign their part of the contract today...which would mean mutual acceptance! We are soooo close to becoming first-time home-owners! As near as we are to making this deal happen, we have our fingers crossed, because it's not a done deal yet! The MLS listing has changed to pending, and we still need to go through the inspection and escrow processes, but we are really enthusiastic, and so excited to share this news with you, or closest friends and family!!!

We will anxiously await the news that it is final. I will hold comments until then, but we've got a bottle of bubbly in our fridge that needs some tending to... can't wait to hear. Our fingers and prayers will be crossed!
