We awoke this morning to find a few inches of newly fallen crisp white snow! After Mark attempted getting in to work, and deciding to stay and work from home, we happily went about our SNOW DAY! At 9 a.m., the snow began to fall again, and didn't let up until the afternoon, leaving us with 7 inches of snow! For a place ill-equipped to handle such volumes of snow, the world stopped. Few cars drove by, buses stopped running, and soon children filled the neighborhood with sleds and snowballs. Ruthie and Mommy trekked over to our neighbor's house for a playdate, preventing cabin-fever; and later in the day, we enjoyed watching Daddy shovel the sidewalk from the front window. You have such a cute blog page and your daughter is ADORABLE!
Isn't it amazing that in just one month Ruthie will be ONE! I was looking at the beautiful picture of her standing at the window and thinking of the days after her birth that Uncle Ty and I prayed for her to be healthy and happy. God surely provides!
