Last night Ruthie was a bit of a pill, so we put her to bed early...not realizing the consequences...she was up at 4:45 a.m. bright eyed and bushy tailed?!#! Nothing we could do would get her back to sleep! She also successfully stood up in her crib by herself for the first time, at 5 a.m.?!#! We finally caved in and got up for the day. We watched the remainder of a movie, played with Ruthie and had big cups of coffee. After what felt like an endless early morning, she collapsed for a nap at 7 a.m.!

Aw...thank you for sharing this honest and heartwrenching moment. I, for one, have been there more times than I'd like to dwell on. You have my sincerest empathy, and my belly laughter to go along with it!!
