Finger Foods

Although baby Ruthie still has a toothless smile, she has managed her first finger foods! Here are a few fun pictures. The first is of her favorite "teething biscuit"...she is a complete mess when she is finished with one, and we usually have to change her entire outfit. The next photos she is eating "Teddy Puffs", which are very similar to Cheerios. She is hilarious while eating these, because as strange as this may sound, she doesn't put them in her mouth?!?! She just slides them around the table, pushes them on the floor, or her favorite activity, hoarding them with both hands. Sometimes I notice she'll have 8 or so Teddy Puffs in one hand?! The other day I didn't get around to sweeping the remaining Teddy Puffs off the floor, and later in the day she crawled over to where they were and made a GRAND discovery of them! She was sooo excited! But once again, no eating them, just playing with them. She is such a riot sometimes!
